Katie Lamons Roberson, DMD
I love getting to know our patients and helping them reach their oral hygiene goals. Seeing someone happy with their treatment and new smile is the absolute best experience! My patients know me as Dr. Katie.
I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Lamons is my father. My husband, Matthew, and I have two dogs. We just bought a new puppy, a Golden Doodle named Darla. I play competitive tennis, and I am learning to play golf. I also volunteer with the Kiwanis Club.
Education and Continuing Education
I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Tennessee, where I obtained my Bachelors of Business Administration in 2014. GO VOLS!!! In May 2020, I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington, KY.
I plan to continue my education by attending courses such as Botox training, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, sleep apnea, and laser treatment among others. Continuing my education through these courses will allow me to serve my patients on a higher level as dentistry is constantly evolving and developing new techniques and gadgets! The main goal of my career is to help my patients make better choices to maintain a healthy, happy smile!

Dentistry is an exciting field because you are a problem solver, an artist, and a provider to your patients helping them stay healthy all at the same time! Having the ability to get people out of pain or fixing their smiles is the absolute best part of the job!
Why did you choose to join the oral healthcare field?
I knew from the tender age of 5 years old that I wanted to be a dentist! It seems as though it runs in the family now, as I am the 4th generation of dentists in the Lamons family. I’ve been roaming the halls of the practice my entire life and have had the extraordinary opportunity to experience every position the practice offers from sterilization tech to business management! Following in my father’s footsteps will be a challenge as he has set the bar exceptionally high, but I’m up for the task! I look forward to working side by side with my dad as a dental professional and providing excellent care for all of our patients!
Personal Info
I grew up right here in Greeneville, TN! Go Greene Devils! I have a new appreciation for our beautiful mountain views after coming back home from being gone to school for many years! I got married in April of 2020 to my wonderful husband, Matt aka Robie. We have two dogs, Duke and Darla! Darla is the puppy featured in my photo! Robie and I love to play golf and tennis in our spare time! Our biggest competitors are my parents! We also enjoy going to the lake and all UT Vols sporting events, especially with family and friends!
